HIKING IN ROSTADALEN

You find Rostadalen, or the Rosta Valley, in Målselv municipality and it is a popular hike due to its beautiful nature and the wildlife. One can occationally spot bear, wolverine and lynx in the valley.

HIKING IN DIVIDALEN

The Dividalen National park is located in the valley along the river, Divielva, in Målselv municipality. Here you can explore beautiful primeval forrest and potholes. The park is known to have a high density of wolverines, actually one of the highest densities in Norway. You can also find Sami heritage monuments in the valley, as well as monuments from the first Norwegian settlements in the area in the 17th and 18th century.
